Close-ups

The door is Sienese. Its combination of flowers and spikes evoke the intimidating beauty of Italian people and places.
The tart is an example of things that arrive on my writing desk when I return to my room after classes. That one, although tempting, I left wrapped and drank my tea minus dolce.
The bench I photographed in Venice because I liked its color. When I took the shot, I didn't know that in just a matter of moments I would walk across its plank to board a gondola.
The chair is the place of composition, it's where I sit right now, but am soon to abandon to go out into the Florentine night in search of sustenance and memorable moments.
